Sales Prep
Highclere Stud has regularly been amongst the top vendors and consignors at all the major sales. It has been the leading vendor at the Tattersalls October Sale Book 1 for five successive years from 2007 to 2011 by aggregate, also achieving an average well over the sale average.
The stud offers sales preparation for foals, yearlings and
broodmares.
Under the guidance of Carolyn Warren, our experienced team, including the vet and farrier, will ensure the horses are prepared to the highest standard. Each horse has its own individual preparation tailor-made to its own specific needs.
Our state of the
art facilities and surrounding natural countryside helps each horse reach their peak at the optimum time for their relevant sale.
At the sales the promotion of bloodstock is aided by Sue Huntingdon and Kirsten Lloyd who are an excellent addition to the permanent staff.
